The Hammer Challenge Series 39 (HCS 39) submission grappling event is scheduled for November 15, 2026.
Where is it?
HCS 39 will be held at the Rahway Recreation Center or St. Peter's Prep in Jersey City.
The Teams & Format
Teams competing across the HCS circle and playoff ecosystem represent top regional Jiu-Jitsu academies from the New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and New York areas. Notable regular team stables in the playoff mix include:

• Saga Jiu Jitsu
• Pure MMA
The Rules:
Matches are fought under Submission-Only rules. Regular professional matches run for 6 minutes, while Grand Prix matches run for 8 minutes. If a match goes to overtime, standard EBI (Eddie Bravo Invitational) or ADCC rules apply depending on the division.
Points System:
In the dual team format, teams score 3 points for a regulation submission, 2 points for an overtime submission, and 1 point for an overtime victory without a submission.
